The tap water in Seoul is delicious. Jenny did some rooting around on the interweb and discovered that the city’s water is ranked 8th best in the world, from a public health perspective. Naturally you can’t always taste clean, but from a drinkability standpoint its great stuff. No chlorine/chemical overtones, no mineral mouth feel. Its almost sweet, with a smooth ironic finish reminiscent of elderberry and horse saddles. OK, not that last part, but its great stuff and I’m glad to have brought stainless canteens to slosh it along with.

The spring weather is equally glorious. Mid 50s to low 70s. Sunny yesterday with some rain in the forcast. But for a visit to a sprawling metropolis, I wouldn’t wish for anything else.
