The Azores are home to tropical fruits, amazing cheese and meat, hot springs and–as if that’s not enough– the only tea plantations in Europe.
Visiting the tea garden was one of our “gotta do its”, and caressing a tea blossom a bucket list experience. As tea drinker, we were thrilled to be able to roam through the glorious maze of tea bushes, and amble amongst the vintage equipment used to process it.
